~ Pairings I love ~

SpikexRarity: My number one OTP on the show I simply love everything about them. They bounce off each other so well - while Rarity is, of course, more classy and refined while Spike is more brash, they both are kind, hard working individuals who share a love of beautiful things, especially gems. They share a close bond on the show that never fails to make me awwww - Rarity's pet name for him and the way he treats her like a lady is just wonderful. Now, I know a majority of the bronies hate this pair because they say it's pedophilia, but really...it's not. Look at Spike's actions throughout the show - cooking, going away on royal duties BY HIMSELF, and basically taking care of Twilight. Are those really things a little kid could do? Not to mention his maturity and high intelligence which surpasses the mane six sometimes. Plus, dragons live for a REALLY long time, longer than ponies - so a "baby" dragon most likely is a teenager for us. Twilight was a very young filly when she hatched him, and fillies are three to four years old, so he can't be more than three or four years younger than the mane six. Also: Dragons are known to be greedy. Rarity is the Element of Generosity, and her weakness is greed. See the connection? ;D

Rainbow DashxSoarin: The minute Rainbow saved his pie I loved this couple. How could Soarin have not noticed the gal who not only saved his flank in Sonic Rainboom, but his dessert? ;D I don't know why, but the way he says "You saved it...thanks" never fails to make me squee. I'm sure once she gets in the Wonderbolts, he and Rainbow would have a lot of time to bond. They're both fast, obnoxious, and athletic, but I think he would also have enough speed to pull her back down to earth if she ever flew a little too high. /metaphor Plus. SO MUCH BLUE

Twilight SparklexBig Macintosh: I got into this pair not too long ago, but DANGIT SO CUTE. The smart, chipper, city-borne student and the down to earth, almost silent farmer? How cute is that? They both are hardworking ponies, and they both have a high level of intelligence (Big Mac's "fancy mathematics" and how he was originally supposed to run the farm) but Big Mac can drag Twilight out of the house if she's had her head stuck in the books for too long There also have been some hints in canon: when he licked her, and the entire Smarypants scene.

Twilight SparklexDr. Whooves: I'm mostly a Twimac shipper now, but these two were my original ship and I still love them. Unlike the rest of the fandom, I don't see Dr. Whooves as a timelord, but rather as a pony that runs a clock shop in Ponyville. He's as smart, and probably smarter than, Twilight, and I can imagine them having long conversations about time and space ;3 Plus I love the color combination of purple and brown. Just lovely. In my headcanon, he and Twilight got together and had a son, but then Whooves went on a journey and never came back, presumed dead. Then, after a long time with no sign of him, Twilight re-married to Big Macintosh

Pinkie PiexPokey Pierce: Such a fun and bouncy pair X3 I can just imagine them going onto the dance floor and just having a great time together. And I'm sure Pinkie won't hold a grudge with him for popping her balloons - that's what balloon-popping parties are for! Plus, the pinkxblue shipping has nostalgic value for me

Pinkie PiexFluttershy: IT'S JUST SO CUTE AND INNOCENT AND AKLJDFHSJF

Sweetie BellexSnails: The two slow ponies of the group is just too cute I think they would understand each other perfectly.

OctaviaxBlues: I like to think of Blues as a goof, and pairing him up with Pinkie's sister Octavia, a civilized, sophisticated, no-nonsense pony? Their dynamic would just be both hilarious and adorable

Fancy PantsxFleur de Lys: I think these two are married as well, given Fancy Pants's age. I loved the way Fleur was draped over him, it was too hilarious I don't think she is a "whorse", I just think she's very high standard

DerpyxPonet: I don't know why I love these two so much, I just do I blame really adorable fanart.

CelestiaxDiscord: SEXUAL TENSION. It's implied that there is a LOT of history between them which I would love to see explored.

LyraxBon Bon: The first yuri pony pair I shipped. I love their color combinations and the way the animators have them interact. Plus there are some BEAUTIFUL pieces of fanart out there of these two.

BraeburnxLittle Strongheart: Yes, an odd pairing, but so cute! I love their interaction in Over a Barrel, especially how they were so keen to bring together the ponies and the buffalo after meeting each other ;D Plus they remind so much of Disney!Pocahontas and John Smith askldjfaskd

ApplebloomxSpike: *sigh* I really do not like this pair. At all. There's just...nothing between them that clicks. They've barely interacted in the show, yet fans think that they're crushing on each other. I find it WAY too overrated, and the fans can be pretty immature...>>

ApplejackxBig Macintosh: Incest isn't wincest -_-

FluttershyxBig Macintosh: Bland, boring, overrated. Sure, they LOOK cute, but what do they have going for them personality wise? They're both shy and quiet? If you ask me, they have too many similarities. It doesn't have anything that keeps the pair interesting. As I mentioned with Spikebloom, they never interacted in the show, yet most fans think it's canon or meant to be.

SnailsxTwist: Another overrated pair. Seriously, what is the appeal? Snails is not a nerd like Twist. He's dumb. I really think Twist would just be too annoyed by him to be in a relationship.

AcexPokey Pierce: Uh...I just don't get it.
DiscordxPinkie Pie: Despite the obvious age difference, Discord's just too mean-spirited in his mischief for Pinkie's taste. I mean, he nearly detroyed her friendship with the others! Why would she fall in love with him? Besides, she was all gung-ho in defeating him.

DiscordxTwilight Sparkle: Nearly the same reason as Pinkie Pie; Discord nearly ruined the mane six's friendship! Sure, he interacted with her more, but only to taunt her about how she failed and how the world would be thrown into chaos.

ApplebloomxZecora: Ehhh...just no. Pedophilia is not my thing.

RarityxBlueblood: After everything he put her through in The Best Night Ever? No way. I like the idea of them just making up and becoming friends, but even then, I think it would just be too awkward given their history.

CheerileexBig Macintosh: I blame Hearts and Hooves Day The jolly mare and the shy, quiet stallion is so cute! But I don't majorly ship it because...well, the entire episode was about not forcing two ponies to get together if they don't want to, and them getting together would make that lesson a little hypocritical :/

CheerilieexCaramel: I just think this pair is cute; probably because of their color schemes. I like CaramelxWind Whistler now, since she is his canon girlfriend now, but they're still an adorable pair.

DerpyxDr. Whooves: A little overrated, but still so cute! I just like TwilightxWhooves and DerpyxPonet better.

Big MacintoshxTrixie: Ah, my original Macintosh ship. I love the idea of Macintosh teaching Trixie about how to care about other ponies instead of herself. Although...let's face it, Trixie wouldn't last in a relationship long

Prince BluebloodxTrixie: THE ULTIMATE LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP. But again, Trixie in a relationship is doomed to disaster

SoarinxSpitfire: They seem more like a brother and sister to me, or just bros :/

SoarinxApplejack: I don't know, it's kinda cute...but I don't like how people say 'SHE GAVE HIM PIE, THEY'RE MEANT TO BE'. First of all, he bought the pie, she didn't give it to him. Second of all...well, he bought a pie. That's it. He was hungry after a flight, as Spitfire said, so he bought one. Basing a pair off of that doesn't work. And as said, I don't think he would give up his passion, flight, to work on a farm. If you think about it, it's pretty much a hetero version of ApplejackxRainbow Dash.

RarityxFancy Pants: ...didn't Fancy Pants seem a lot older than the mane six? I mean, the way he called Twilight a "young filly", and all...he just seemed like an older stallion to me. _{But no, shipping a male pony ten years older than a female pony is alright, but shipping a male dragon three years younger than a female pony ZOMG PEDOPHILIA /sarcasm}
